FAQ

What should I spend Gems on?
Use Gems for a permanent ability that matches your main role and fixes a real weakness. Test the free abilities first.
What are Coins used for?
Current guides describe Coins as the main purchase currency for consumable item packs, although live shop options can change.
Why do two guides show different ability prices?
The shop was rebalanced between October 2026 snapshots. Always use the current in-game price rather than an older article or screenshot.

Gems: permanent progression

Current beginner references describe Gems as the currency for permanent abilities. Match performance and collectible pickups can award Gems, while working codes sometimes grant a fixed amount or a temporary 2× Gem boost.

Do not buy the first expensive ability just because a tier list ranks it highly. Play both roles with the free One Hit Shield and Bear Trap, identify where you struggle, then buy a tool that improves that situation.

Coins: consumable supplies

Coins are commonly associated with consumable item packs. An October 3 item snapshot reported three-charge packs for items such as Adrenaline, Banana Peel and Rescue Kit. The live store may now use different prices, quantities or inventory, so inspect the purchase panel before confirming.

Consumables are temporary. If you are still learning movement, permanent knowledge usually helps more than repeatedly spending Coins to cover the same mistake.

Codes, boosts and spins

The current Huss Valley code list includes community-reported Gems, Coins, timed boosts and Wheel Spins. Timed boosts may start immediately after redemption. Queue up first, then redeem so the timer is spent in matches rather than menus.

Wheel Spins are a separate reward type, not a replacement for Gems or Coins. Check the result screen and the appropriate inventory after each spin.

Price snapshots are not price guarantees

October guides disagree because the game changed. For example, an early beginner guide listed Cloak and Emergency Airhorn at 1,000 Gems, while an October 10 community planner reported 1,625 and 1,450 Gems respectively. That is evidence of balance or store changes—not a reason to choose whichever number looks cheaper.

Our all abilities guide labels its table as a dated snapshot, and the ability tier list focuses on function rather than pretending prices are permanent.

A sensible spending order

  1. Learn the free role abilities.
  2. Redeem valid codes when you are ready to play.
  3. Decide whether you prefer Runner or Chaser.
  4. Save Gems for one permanent ability that fits that role.
  5. Use Coins on consumables only when you understand when they create value.

The beginner guide covers the match loop, and consumables and knives separates gameplay items from cosmetic knives.
